I was well pleased with this item, a very good reproduction. Probably as good as the ones made during the war… Put a little leather conditioner on it. It would be nice if it included some directions to "shrink fit" it to your 1911, I got online and found two different methods. I’m going to use it for my 1918 colt 1911, it has had an Augusta Arsenal up grade, but the method I used worked pretty good. I would highly recommend this holster when it is back in stock, the only thing that would make it any better if it was made in America…It is a good deal, and even though I haven’t worn it yet,, waiting for cold weather,, I feel it will work fine!!!
